Looking for a Vendoo alternative?

Vendoo is a well-established crosslister with more marketplaces and a cheaper entry plan than ours. There is one architectural difference worth understanding before you connect it to your shop.

The difference: who holds permission to post as you

Vendoo is refreshingly clear about how it works, and we will quote them rather than characterise them:

“We never store any login information from any of your marketplaces. We don’t even ask for your credentials! For eBay and Etsy, we store an access token (that is given to us when you allow Vendoo permission to post on your behalf)…” Vendoo Help Centre, “Is the Vendoo website secure?”, read 8 August 2026

That is not a criticism. It is the standard, legitimate way to integrate with eBay and Etsy, the token is scoped to listing and delisting, and Vendoo handles it openly. For the other marketplaces they use a Chrome extension that opens hidden tabs and fills forms.

MyShopRender never holds a token of any kind. There is no authorisation screen, nothing to grant, and nothing to revoke. The extension fills the marketplace’s own form inside your own logged-in browser session. Whether that matters to you depends on how you feel about a third party holding standing permission to post to your shop.

Where the listing ends up

Vendoo’s documented flow is: fill in the Vendoo form, then open each marketplace form where your details have been transferred, complete any marketplace-specific fields, and click list. The item lives in the Vendoo dashboard and is published from there.

MyShopRender fills the marketplace’s own form and saves a native draft in your account. Nothing is published. You open the draft in Etsy or eBay when you are ready and press Publish yourself.

Vendoo figures taken from vendoo.co/pricing, vendoo.co/marketplaces and help.vendoo.co, checked 8 August 2026. Their pricing page currently shows two different price tables; we have used the Starter/Growth/Pro figures. Their website and help centre give different marketplace counts. Prices are in the currency each company publishes. Check their site for current terms.

Being fair about it: Vendoo’s entry plan is cheaper than ours, they have a permanent free tier, and they cover twice as many marketplaces. If you sell on Poshmark or Mercari, we are not an option for you at all.

Where each one fits

Vendoo suits inventory management

If you hold stock across many marketplaces and need one dashboard to track, relist and delist it, that is what Vendoo is built for and we do not compete with it.

MyShopRender suits listing creation

If your bottleneck is writing the listing and typing it into the form, that is the whole of what we do. Photos in, native drafts out.

No standing permission

Nothing to authorise, nothing to revoke. If you stop using us, there is no token left behind with access to your shop.

Different items, one run

Load a batch of unrelated stock, walk away, come back to a draft for each. Not one item copied to five places — five different items, each written from scratch.

Most tools hand you text. This one finishes the job.

Drop in your photos. MyShopRender writes each listing, fills the marketplace’s own form and leaves a draft in your account. Five listings free, no card.

Questions

Is an access token a security problem?

Not inherently, no. OAuth tokens are the sanctioned way to integrate with eBay and Etsy, and they are scoped and revocable. The honest framing is that it is a different trust model: with a token, a third party can act on your shop. With MyShopRender there is no token, so that question never arises.

Is MyShopRender a crosslister?

No. A crosslister copies one item to several marketplaces. MyShopRender takes photos of different items and writes a separate listing for each one. If crosslisting is what you need, Vendoo does it and we do not.

Can I use both?

Yes. They are separate extensions and do not conflict — MyShopRender to create the drafts, Vendoo to manage inventory across marketplaces we do not support.

What does it cost to find out?

Nothing. Five AI listings free, no card required.
